SEAT ASSEMBLY
Challenge: To reduce the part count and the overall cost of a large multi-part assembly while improving its performance and maintaining a water-tight fit.
Solution: We redesigned the entire assembly to include an internal cavity nozzle system.
Result: Reduced part count from 25 down to 5. Increased the nozzle count from 4 to 6 individual and separate nozzles to 20 built-in nozzles which increased liquid distribution by a factor of 5. Reduced assembly time by 95%.
